PRE-WEDDING CHEEKY PUB LUNCH - 10AM - 12:30PM
For those travelling from Brisbane, we're having a cheeky pub lunch on Friday at 10am at the Breakfast Creek Hotel. The WedFest Bus will be picking guests up from here at 12:30pm to take them to Midginbil Eco Resort.

ARRIVAL @ MIDGINBIL ECO RESORT - FROM 2:30PM
Check-in whenever you please after 2:30pm. Get settled into your room and explore the property. We'll probably be in the Barn getting things ready for the big day.
DECK DRINKS & BBQ - FROM 6PM
We're having drinks and a BBQ on the deck at the Homestead from 6pm.
 It's a casual affair, so wear whatever you want and do as you please.... just be careful of first night fever!
RISE & SHINE YOGA SESSION 8:00am - 9:00am
Start your day with a revitalising morning yoga session
 Find your inner zen and get ready for a day of festivities ahead.

BREKKIE WITH MIMOSAS 8am - 10am
Did someone say mimosas? 
Enjoy the breakfast buffet in the Homestead Dining Room from 8am - 10am.

FREE TIME & A LIGHT LUNCH 10am - 1:30pm
Mat and Steph will be busy getting ready, so the next couple of hours are your own. Feel free to go out sightseeing, have a swim or play a game of tennis.

A light lunch will be served in the Homestead dining room between 12pm - 1pm.

FIG TREE CONVOY 1:30pm
The wedding ceremony is under a beautiful fig tree on a hill on the Midginbil Eco Resort property.
Please gather in the Homestead car park at 1:30 pm for a carpool convoy up the hill. Don’t worry if you don’t have a car; we’ll make several trips to carpool everyone.

TIME TO SAY 'I DO' 2:30pm - 4pm
The ceremony should be short and sweet with some celebratory drinks and group photos while we soak up the view.
COCKTAIL HAPPY HOUR – From 4pm
Enjoy a few cocktails and canapés on the lawns by the barn. Mat and Steph will be capturing those magical moments, so take this opportunity to play a few lawn games and enjoy the side show attractions.

RECEPTION – From 6pm
Time for some good wine, food and company. Find your table and settle in for the night, or mosey around the space and mingle. This is a low-key affair, so don't feel like you need to stay at your seats all night.

AFTER PARTY BONFIRE – From 11pm
Gather 'round the bonfire for late-night fun, stories and a tipple or two.
RECOVERY BREAKFAST 8am - 10am
Satisfy those morning-after cravings at our recovery breakfast. We know there'll be a few sore heads, so tuck into a delicious recovery breakfast or have a hair of the dog to keep the party going.
LAZY LUNCH 12pm - 1pm
Lunch will be available in the Homestead Dining Room from 12pm again, so head on down if you still fancy a morsel after the recovery breakfast.
OFF-WHITE AFTER PARTY From 1pm
We're keeping the celebration alive with an Off-White After Party! Throw on your best white outfit or wedding dress (yes, we’re looking at you, gents) and join in the fun.

Expect adults-only games guaranteed to bring out your inner child, along with other surprises to keep the laughter going.
​
Want to take it easy? The day is yours to enjoy! Lounge by the pool, hit the tennis court, or roam the beautiful grounds.
MYSTERY DINNER – From 6pm
For our last night at the resort, we'll be putting on a mystery dinner... mystery because we haven't figured out what we'll be doing yet... but it'll be yummy and there'll be something to wash it down with too.
FAREWELL BREKKIE & CHECKOUT – From 8am - 10am
Share one last meal before Mat and Steph head off into their 'happily ever after'. Breakfast will be served in the Homestead dining room again.

Checkout is at 11am with a bus booked to take those who need a ride back to Gold Coast and Brisbane.
Off-White After Party
Wedding dresses encouraged

We thought it would be fun(ny) to have a white party on the Sunday and even better if everyone wore wedding dresses, regardless of gender… so get creative! Op shop finds and wedding dresses are strongly encouraged.
Join us for a day filled with team-based drinking games and other fun outdoor activities. Expect plenty of laughs, light-hearted competition, and memories that will make recovery day just as legendary as the wedding itself. Dress up, join the fun, and keep the celebrations going!
